Stories Woven from Yarn
Exhibition at Kőkút Kert Restaurant
The Kőkút Kert Restaurant hosting the exhibition is located in the picturesque village of Kékkút, the smallest yet one of the most charming settlements in the Káli Basin. The restaurant operates in a several-hundred-year-old atmospheric farmhouse, once known as József Molnár’s inn, and today welcomes guests with traditional Hungarian flavors combined with modern gastronomy.
The garden area creates a special atmosphere: lush vegetation, a covered lounge area, old stone walls, and a friendly ambiance ensure that a visit is not only a cultural but also a culinary experience.
The exhibition presents the magical works of Ilona Vágó created using the punch needle technique. These pieces are not just decorations – they tell stories. Every stitch holds a narrative, and the colors and textures almost come alive on the canvas.

Ilona’s works remind us that stories are not bound by age, but by the freedom of imagination. Her images speak to those who still remember dreams, watchful wonder, and the limitless freedom of fantasy.
